How to Book a Speedboat in the Maldives
To book your speedboat transfer in the Maldives, please contact us via email or, preferably, on WhatsApp and reply with the following details:

Once we receive this information, we will check seat availability. After payment is received, we’ll confirm your booking and send you your E-ticket.
* If your travel date is several months away, you do not need to contact us right now. We recommend reaching out to us about one week before your arrival date. This is usually sufficient to confirm your seats. The latest you can contact us is 24 hours before the speedboat departure.
* For security reasons, we may require a copy of your flight ticket to confirm your booking. This helps us prevent fraudulent bookings.
Important Notes
- The speedboats are located at the airport jetty, just a 1-minute walk from the airport upon your arrival. More details will follow confirmation.
- Your boat transfer pass will include the speedboat name and jetty location.
- All speedboat transfers from Male’ are scheduled to depart 10 to 15 minutes earlier than the listed departure time at the airport. This policy applies if you are departing from Male’.
- Each passenger may bring 1 piece of luggage and 1 handbag.
- Safety Jackets: Provided onboard for your safety, Wi-Fi: Available on select speedboats.
- We are based in the Maldives, not in any other country, our support team is available during your journey and after, for any assistance you might need. We actively monitor the departure and journey of our speedboat ferries in real-time through GPS to ensure timely and safe transfers.
- Schedules and departure times may change sometimes due to weather conditions or incidents. We will inform you promptly of any changes.
Ticket Policy
- Tickets are non-refundable, however we are flexible : in case you miss the speedboat, because of flight delay, we will put you in the next available speedboat on the same route (Free of charge). We are the only service in the Maldives to offer this advantage (Except for Maafushi Route is not included).
Payment Policies for Guaranteed Seats
- All prices are in USD and are per person, per way (inclusive of all taxes). Maldivian nationals and residents are eligible for different rates than tourists and must present their ID.
- Cash payments are not accepted for guaranteed seats. Full payment in advance, via the listed payment methods, is required to secure your booking.
- A 10 USD surcharge applies for any passenger traveling with a Surfboard on all routes. Please inform us in advance.
- Our prices are final, with no discounts, and include all handling and service fees. If you are not satisfied with the prices, you are not obliged to book with us. We appreciate your understanding of our transparent pricing structure.
Important Notice: Please read carefully and choose the correct island. The Maldives is made up of 1192 islands, and sometimes there are two islands with the same name. Private Speedboat Transfers: Between Local Islands & Resort Islands in Maldives
Important Notice: Private Speedboat Transfers to Resorts:
Please be advised that private speedboat transfers from MLE Airport to any resort are strictly prohibited unless prior permission is obtained from the resort. Before contacting us to arrange your transfer, you must first confirm with your resort that they allow external private transfer arrangements. If your resort provides approval, you may then reach out to us. Upon confirmation, we will provide the resort with the vessel registration number and the expected arrival time for your transfer. Please note that this service is only available if you have a confirmed booking with the resort.
Currently, we are offering private transfers only from MLE Airport to tourist resorts located in South Ari Atoll.
In Addition: Local Islands to Resorts Transfers :
If you are already on a local island near that resort, we can arrange a transfer from that local island to that resort. Examples include transfers from Gulhi to Anantara Veli Resort or vice versa, from Dhiffushi to Meeru Island Resort & Spa, from Dhangethi to Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa, from Mahibadhoo to Lily Beach Resort & Spa, and etc, etc,…
Please note: Do not confuse these transfers with day passes to resorts. They are completely different. A day visit to a resort, for example, from Maafushi to Sun Siyam Olhuveli or from Gulhi to Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Resort, includes round-trip transfer, entrance fee, buffet lunch, drinks, and use of the resort’s facilities. It is like a day package. A day visit to a resort is different from a regular transfer.
Pricing Information for Private Transfers :
The cost of private hire speedboat transfers depends on several factors including, distance, boat capacity, season, and especially weather conditions. During rough seas, a larger boat may be required instead of a small or regular one to ensure safety, which could result in higher costs.
Important Note: Some resorts may charge additional fees for private hire boats, such as docking charges. These fees are set by the resort and will be added to the total cost.
