As of July 23rd, 2023, the Maldives welcomed 1,031,398 tourists, surpassing one million tourists for the first time, and total 1253 tourist accommodation was in operation with total 61116 beds in operation. The average duration of stay was 7.7 Days. Australia entered the top 10 Markets for Maldives for the first time and replaced South Korea, in July 2023.
