As of 23rd December 2023, Maldives received 1 821 338 Tourist arrivals since the start of this year, and their average duration of stay is 7,6 Days. Until last week, there is a total 61 273 beds in operation from 1140 Tourist Accommodation in Operation (Resort, Hotel, Guest House, Home Stay, Bare Boat, Vessel, Yacht).
Russia is at the forefront in total visitor arrivals, with India and China closely trailing. The Maldives marked a notable accomplishment last week as they greeted their 1.8 millionth tourist for the year 2023, meeting the annual arrival goal successfully.
