Our Guest Reviews
LOVELY EXPERIENCE Mahibadoo is the capital of the south Ari Atoll (the best for marine life), perfect for those looking for an authentic experience: fishermen’s island with all services: hospital, bank, restaurants, shops and local ferryboat to get around the nearby islands at a cost of 2 dollars making magnificent trips in the day. Mehel’s guest house is perfect for location, services, order and above all for the welcome and support of the guys who work there. In particular, Aflaah is a super kind guy who helped us with everything and his mom who prepared breakfast for us every day with affection. Together with Aflaah we met Niyaz, literally the best fisherman on the island, who accompanied us on all our excursions, experiencing the real life of fishermen, sharing unique emotions by fishing for giant sailing fish and swimming along with mantles, rays, turtles and whale sharks. We felt at home, thanks for everything! See you soon Camilla & Andrea

We both really loved the island shaujah was so nice he taught us snorkelling and arranged day trips for us and was very helping throughout this whole time. Infact, everyone on the island was so welcoming and the lady was so loving and made breakfast for us everyday even though we were always late for that. It really felt like home I still don’t believe 8 days has passed. Our experience was exceptional. Room was comfy and clean. We had so much fun on the island, Definitely recommend this place , don’t think just book it.

How to get to Mahibadhoo
Getting to Mahibadhoo is simple and affordable with our recommended super-fast speedboat transfer from Malé Airport, costing just $55 per person one way. Speedboat transfers are available twice daily, including Fridays, which is typically an off day in the Maldives. As a special service, we provide a Free airport representative (usually a $10 fee) who will guide you from Malé Airport to the speedboat departure point in Malé, ensuring you a smooth transfer experience.
We don’t recommend taking the public ferry to Mahibadhoo as it runs only three times a week, is very slow, outdated, uncomfortable, long journey, and often gets canceled in bad weather. However, public ferries are a great option for exploring nearby islands from Mahibadhoo. To book your speedboat, just reach out to us on WhatsApp.
