Who we are ?

hala Maldif inspired by the Spanish expression hala, meaning “let’s go” or “come on,” and Maldif, a nod to the breathtaking Maldives. It was created to make island travel easy and stress-free. In April 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, two Maldives Travel Experts, saw many travelers stuck on local islands and resorts. There were no speedboats running because of health restrictions, and people had no way to leave. They wanted to start their own private speedboat service to help, but at that time, it wasn’t possible. However, they never gave up on the idea. 

Today, that idea has become reality. Hala Maldif was built with a simple goal: to make speedboat transfers in the Maldives easier and more reliable. With more than 180 inhabited local islands in the Maldives, transport between them can be confusing, with limited schedules and difficult connections. Hala Maldif was created to solve this problem by making speedboat transfers easier to understand and book.

We focus on providing well-organized speedboat services across local islands and selected resorts. From scheduled transfers to private charters, we help travelers move with clear timing and simple booking.
