1. STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE TICKETS : Tickets cannot be refunded, credited, transferred, or exchanged for cash under any circumstances. Voluntary cancellation by the passenger for any reason will not result in a refund. This includes, but is not limited to: Change of travel plans / Change of hotel or accommodation / Personal reasons / Illness or other personal circumstances / Flight changes or cancellations / Missed flights or connections / Refusal of entry into the Maldives by immigration authorities / Delays at immigration or customs / Any other reason beyond Hala Maldif’s control.
2. CHANGES OF DATE OR TIME (SAME ROUTE ONLY) :
Changes are permitted only subject to seat availability and the following conditions:
- 72 hours (3 days) or more before departure: FREE change.
- Less than 72 hours before departure: USD 10 per person per way.
- Bookings with a departure time less than 24 hours from the time of booking are not eligible for date changes.
- Changes are permitted only on the same route.
- Changes are always subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- No-show for any reason: Ticket is forfeited. No changes or refunds; a new ticket is required.
3. FLIGHT DELAYS & AIRLINE DISRUPTIONS :
- If your flight is delayed, you must notify us via WhatsApp or Telegram at least 6 hours before departure.
- If we are not notified at least 6 hours before departure, the ticket will be forfeited and a new ticket must be purchased.
- Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
- If available, rescheduling to the next speedboat on the same route is subject to a USD 10 per person per way fee.
- Passengers are responsible for allowing sufficient time between their flight arrival and speedboat departure, and we are not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, or airline-related disruptions.
4. SPEEDBOAT TRANSFER INFORMATION :
- Location: Your e-ticket includes the speedboat name and jetty location. Simply click on the jetty location to view the exact spot on Google Maps.
- Baggage Allowance: Each passenger may bring 1 piece of luggage and 1 handbag.
- Surfboard Surcharge: A USD 15 minimum surcharge applies for any passenger traveling with a surfboard. Please inform us in advance.
- Onboard Amenities: Safety jackets are provided for your protection. Wi-Fi is available on select speedboats.
- Journey Duration: Times listed in the schedule are approximate and assume good weather. Journeys may take longer in rough seas.
- Weather & Safety: In case of strong winds or unsafe sea conditions, trips may be cancelled for safety. You will be rescheduled on the next available speedboat to the same island at no extra cost.
- Schedule Changes: Departure times may occasionally change due to weather or unforeseen incidents. We will inform you promptly of any updates.
By completing a booking, the passenger agrees to these terms and conditions.
